Hi All,

I will be travelling in UC on a Z fare on a couple of my flights departing from NRT and also LHR. My friend of mine is travelling on the same flight but in Y. Can my friend check in with me at the UC counters? Or will he be rejected or a high chance of getting rejected?

Cheers,
K.

Your friend will be able to check in with you at the UC check-in desk.

And you will also be able to take him into the Clubhouse as your guest as well.

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds good! Reason i say this is because the LHR Y line is horrendous!

Also does the VS website state that my friend travelling in Y can check in with me in UC line? I can never find this info :) Or is it an unofficial perk?

I wonder if when i travel in J or F on MH if the same applies? Never thought about this!

Normally when travelling in a premium class you can check in a colleague who isn't in that class. It's a tip of the hat to the premium pax who might be travelling with a junior colleague.

Indeed FC gold and a guest can check in at the UC desk, regardless of travel class. And then FC Gold and guest can also use the Fast Track Security on their way to the Clubhouse... About the only thing a guest doesn't seem to be able to do is prebook any CH treatments.
