Can now confirm that Pacific Blue- Virgin Blues International sister airline- has now started domestic operations in New Zealand using 3 737.

The routes on offer are:

AKL-WLG (7 daily)
AKL-CHC (5 daily)
CHC-WLG (3 daily)

As is normal in NZ- DJ will be using the domestic terminal of QF for the time being.

Future routes to non major airports such as Dunedin and Queenstown are expected during first quarter of 2008.

Exciting times for NZ aviation.

When I was in New Zealand, there were signs EVERYWHERE in Auckland about the new service.
