Being reported on various Kiwi aviation sites and on the NZ Aviation Thread on a.net that DJ have now confirmed three 738's will be leaving Australia to start NZ Domestic operations.

I don't have the registrations of the first two a/c but one is already in Pac Blue scheme. A third 738 will arrive in December to start operations between non trunk routes. So from that we can take it that the DJ domestic operations will not be limited to AKL-CHC-WLG routes.

All confirmed by DJ at the first LCC World Conference in London.

Is exciting times ahead for DJ and NZ domestic operations. THe only downside I can see currently is the lack of terminal space with DJ being relegated to non air bridge QF gates at both AKL and CHC.
