For anyone that is travelling to Gatwick with the Limo car service note drive thru checkin is NOW CLOSED.

There is a new service that is in operation.

Virgin have moved to a meet and greet service at the kerb side or LGW.

The driver must use the on board PDA for this service to be smooth. About 20 minutes from the terminal they must press that button so that there will be someone from Virgin that will meet you at the kerb side.

Note also that you have to take your bags to the checkin zone A, as there is no security at kerbside, nor bag collection.

If your driver does not know where to go, they have to drop you off at the departures area at the top of the terminal at the first set o doors. Basically where the long term car park buses drop off.

One other piece of advise is that the guards on the gate to the upper ramp are a little unpredictable, so remind them that Virgin usually provide a list o passengers that should be let up. Drivers dont have the pass cards anymore.

If all this aligns then you have a smooth operation. If not then you have to make your way to checkin

Not really like LHR at all anymore for LGW.
