Code share with SQ

Hello,

I am looking at travelling to Singapore from NYC in a week or so. The best fare is on VS and SQ via London.

But for 200 dollars more I can travel on VS flight numbers (ie. the SQ flights are codeshares)...

As a VS Gold member, which is better for me? Is there actually any difference in benefits of VS flight numbers over mixed (lounge, opup priority etc?)

Would be grateful for any insights...
