happens all the time.
the ads on reuters will have certain tags (e.g. "airline"), as will the articles.
therefore with each article, a search is performed in the ad database, and the relevant ads displayed.
of course this is probably totally wrong.
I've seen it on msnbc with a ual article and an AAL ad.
