This guy has been offering these shirts constantly for months now.
Are they genuine VS items? I always thought they were just shirts some enthusiast had made up.

If you look at his other items for sale, I doubt they're authentic - but they're not a bad fake I s'pose [V]

Totally agree Michael, I don't think VS - or the Vegas Police / Fire Depts. would be too thrilled about the copyright issues though;)

Absolutely - even leaving aside the obvious copyright infringements, like Jonathan says, isn't it a bit daft to be selling things that could be "impersonating an officer" or a loose variation of that? ;)

Those shirts aren't in any way authentic. The seller does admit that they are "not a uniform garment", although if he was being completely honest he'd let people know they're just produced in his study with a cheap embroidering machine.

You'd think he'd at least try to get the Virgin Atlantic logo correct!

My advice is to avoid at all costs - I wish I had ;)

For once, I actually did that - I usually bid on things that look good in a tiny 2" x 2" picture , then regret it when they arrive - I have never been tempted by these shirts though:)

Isn't Virgin likely to be a bit miffed at the infringement? and also where do all those items on e-bay come from?

well I have to admit I might have ebayed the odd upperclass amenity kit, it all helps;)

Also not sure how miffed Virgin would be, to real fans it would be obvious and it is still brand distribution and all publicity as they say....

I do know however that one of the virgin companies (i am not saying which before you ask) actually bid on a Virgin uniform that was being offered on ebay and then when they won, went round and promptly sacked the member of staff for gross misconduct, so I know Group are aware of these situations and check them out.
