A343 UCS Refits

It looks like some (if not all) of the A343s will be around for a while yet as the UCS is scheduled to be fitted from Summer 2005.

This will be a particular bonus for the LAX route.

Hmmm ... its a bit of a double edged sword isnt it.

While its great that the A343s get a refit it would still be nice to lose them completely, which obviously isnt going to happen now.

PE on those planes really isnt up to the 747 standard and i had hoped that when they retired it would be the end of that.

Anyway, its great news for UC pax anyhow ...
