Is there any way of knowing this far in advance which aircraft is scheduled for the above flight. The agent we booked through have yet to issue our tickets so I cannot do anything via the VS website, even though I have the booking reference.
I have also checked the what aircraft section on this site.

According to Galileo it is a 744. Availability is as follows

VS 43 LGW 1045 LAS 1330 744 0
BUCKET CLASS AVAILABILITY: J3 D0 Z0 W0 S0 K0 Y7 B7 L7 M7 Q7 X0 N0

Not many premium seats left!!

There are several ways of getting to find out the type of plane you are DUE to get - travel agent sites like Expedia will list the type of plane.

You can download one of the availability tools like this one:

It is also worthwhile joining the Clubhouse in this forum ;)

Please remember - there are no guarantees - a/c are always subject to last minute changes.

Hi,

You won't be able to find out the exact plane, but if you have your locator reference from the travel agent then just give FC a call and you'll be able to reserve seats.

Best to do it with the seat maps on here up in front of you. Find out the plane type and check the map whilst you're on the phone

This is the Las Vegas route which flies from LGW so it's always a 747-400, and it could be any one of the 5 aircraft there which are all identical.

But, as this is September you are going, it's likely/possible an aircraft will have been removed to upgrade it to UCS, and a LHR aircraft (already fitted with UCS) might be drafted in to replace it.

In fact, no download is needed for this - it's a web-based availability checker.:)
