Missed my flight VS901 from NRT-LHR this morning. Its an upper class ticket booked with frequent flyer miles. The VS office in Tokyo is closed as its Saturday and the office in the UK is closed as its 01:00 UK time. What should I do? I have travel insurance, is it worth calling them to see if they can re-route me?
Not too impressed with VS operations in Japan. Their office was closed today so tried phoning them at the airport but it was busy and couldn't get through. In the end I bought a phone card and called the Hong Kong office who sorted it all out very efficently. They offered to send me back tomorrow on PE but I decided to wait till the 7th on UCS. 25GBP to change the ticket but I reckon that was a good enough deal.

you can reverse the charges (call collect) calling VS (they accept the charges)
25 GBP isnt worth haggling over! good deal indeed!
