Where did the points counter go?

There used to be a counter that said something to the effect 'from the x of January' etc, 'you will need z points to retain gold membership' etc. I can't seem to see that anywhere now. Has it been removed or is there an alternative?

You still have the:

Tier Points Towards Gold Renewal.

You need XX Tier Point(s) by dd-month-yy to renew gold membership.

message when you click the 'Your Tier points' link once logged in.

But there used to be a drop-down list that allowed you to select a couple of months or more out, so you could see how many points you need to earn if you don't renew at the annual/target month. Now, it just seems to say you need x by y and that appears to be it (unless I've missed something)?

You dont get that on Au accounts. Not sure if you have ever have, but I've never seen it.

Having just logged into my SSA, there is a calculator there to tell you how close you are to reaching Au.

GOING FOR GOLD

If you want to get to Gold membership you'll need to earn 40 tier points in a rolling 13 month period (e.g. 01 Jan 2005 to 31 Jan 2006). See how close you are to Flying Club Gold on the calculator below.

It then has a drop down box to select months, clicking the calculate button then tells you how many points you need to reach Au.

Not sure what's on Red accounts though.

As your Au renewal date is always fixed, there's no need to have a calculator as regardless of what month your currently in, the required number of TP's to re-new wont change (unless you earn more TP's of course) so the message you see now:

You need XX Tier Point(s) by dd-month-yy to renew gold membership

is all that's needed.
