Long haul in the 330 is pretty nice, there is a world of difference between NW domestic and international service, is it UC or CW...no..but it is still pretty good.

Virgin will mostly likely launch SEA, IF they get the metal & IF they get the slots. The fact that LAS has more premium traffic I highly doubt. From what I gather, it's full of stag parties. BA have a huge amount of business traffic on the route, & simply don't have enough capacity. Boeing & Microsoft are big clients. Even they end up being routed through CPH with SAS etc.

I would love to see VS fly out of SEA since I fly there a fair few times. A nice shiny -600 would be nice, but I'm not sure what Boeing will think[:w]. YVR doesn't fair too well up front. It seems to be more in favour of tourists than higher yield businessmen. If it's launched at all, I'd guess it would start from Gatwick.

To match any movements in Seattle, I'd expect a big movement by VS on India. When I fly to SEA, most of the Y cabin is indian, & are connecting on to India. The NW flight to AMS continues to Bombay. VS would have to retime/add frequencies/add destinations to India to really make it a success. Sure, UC & maybe PE will fill up nicely, but to avoid too many cheap skates getting down back, more India flights.

LON-STL...now there's a topic[}:)]

Couldn't agree more with that statement! I'd love to see VS do more in India, Bangalore and Chennai first please.
