Quick question that I suspect I'll get answered here more quickly than via the Virgin US telephone team:

I've upgraded The Other Mr Morgan on his flight out to see me at the end of the month, so the basic ticket is flexible/upgradable.

If I want to change one of his sectors, but keep him upgraded, would that count as a cancellation of the upgrade, and cost me 25% of the miles used, or can I just move the upgrade, assuming G class availability on the new date of travel?

Thanks.

I had a scenario very similar whereby I had to change my dates of travel and the route .... I did not lose any miles at all, I just squared up the slight change in fare of the basic ticket. They actually refunded the miles back into my account in full and then took them again for the new booking.

Cheers
