VS20 SFO - LHR - No PE on upper deck?

Been advised there is no PE seating on the upper deck of VS 20 on Thursday 27th March; apparently, the upper deck is configured with the UCS only...[:?]

I much prefer the relative peace and quiet of the upper deck and I'm disappointed to have to sit in the main cabin.

Can anyone confirm if this is really likely to be the case or simply an error in the system?

If the aircraft is a 747-400 config-4 version, the upper deck is Upper Class only.

There is always a chance of a plane change at the last minute that may be a config-1.

I believe all the LHR 744s have been reconfigured UCS only on upper deck.

All 5 LHR B744's are now configured with the new high density J/W cabins. PE is only available on the main deck from LHR unfortunately unless a LGW aircraft is drafted in.

G-VROC was the last aircraft to get the makeover, she re-joined service in mid Decemeber. [:D]
