Hi Everyone

Yeas the turbulence forecast was great. It was just around lunchtime it started and yeah it was a bit bumpy but i wasn't scared at all.

Anyway Trip report.

We flew out of Manchester on a Virgin plane called Pretty Woman. take off delayed but only about 10 minutes as only one runway in use. Had a lovely glass of Champagne before take off. The cabin crew were lovely as i actually didn't feel well. I had a high temperature and felt flu like. Jamie was so kind when i told her i get nervous with turbulence. She said the flight would be ok and not to worry but to come and have a chat if i got scared.

Hot towels were nice but as i had a high temperature the cabin crew gave me a cold one which was great and some iced water whenever i needed it. They were so helpful. I really think i owe it to them for easing my nerves.

Drinks came round with a bag of pretzels, then soon after it was lunch. Choice of a beef dish of Chicken or pasta. I had the beef which was so tender and two glasses of red wine which was lovely too. It was a little bumpy and lunch was being eaten and the seatbelt sign was on for about 30 minutes but i wasn't bothered at all.

The only time i did get a little scared was the seatbelt sign went on when it was really smooth and i wondered why. But the cabin crew said it was just in case of turbulence as it was a bit rough there earlier. (phew)

The kids loved the food too. Ate everything. The pots of GU were the best. My daughter 15 is addicted to them now. Costs me a fortune, £1.99 for 3 tiny pots of heaven as she calls them. They were so good.

Then it was Baileys and ice yummy.

The films were a good selection too Ratatouille on the way out. But i watched Run Fat Boy Run twice on the way back it was so funny. The only thing i would say was we didn't have the TV's that you could stop and start the films when you wanted too. So we missed the start of the second round of films.

My 7 year old was so good. I wondered how he would cope on such a long flight. With Sponge Bob square pants on he was well happy.

The gifts i ordered were really nice too. necklace for my daughter and a replica plane for my 7 year old son. Who shows anyone who will listen which seat he was sat in.

Then after lunch i fell asleep as it had been an early start for us. Lots of room to spread out.

We had lovely sandwiches for tea. Then it was time to land.

The return flight was much bumpier for at least the first hour and a half. But again nothing to worry about. Great crew again. Virgin are great and would fly with them above anyone else. Flew back on a plane called Hot Lips airborne since 2001. Great end to a fantastic holiday.

THANKY OU VIRGIN. And thank you to all of you for all your advice and
tips pre flight.

I've had bumpier experiences trying to use reason with residents of Hull. Congrats on your courage and so nice to hear you had a great time!
