my wife really loves the free earplugs you get onboard and would really like to purchase a load of them. we have tried writing to virgin (typical waste of time) can anyone here help / advise where we should be looking [?]

Ebay? There are loads of Amenity kits on there for sale that contain Earplugs.

I tend to buy earplugs from http://www.snorestore.co.uk - they do a -39db set that knock the socks off the performance of the ones in the amenity kits.

i know there are probably better performing plugs out there but she finds these ones really comfortable, and buying them off ebay in sets of 1 or 2 is going to cost a fortune!

If writing to VS is such a waste of time then take it into your own hands, after your next flight be last to leave, take all those you can see then put them in the washing machine as a job lot when you get home.
