I've pre-ordered (and paid for)a couple of items for next weeks flight (to try and soften the blow of a jaunt in economy[:0]) but there is no sign of the bonus miles in my FC account (10 for every 1 spent).Do these just automatically appear in my FC account at some point after I've received the items on board or am I going to have to chase them?FC details were given when I made the order.

Hi DL,

They have appeared for me after I've taken the flights that I've pre-ordered for.

I don't think they credit in advance just in case you cancel your order. [:D]

Mine have always appeared after the flight has been completed.

Also, although I thought I had prepaid, the last 3 times, I have had to hand over my c/c and sign on board.

I think the miles transfers are only carried out once a month so it can take upto 4 weeks after you fly to see your miles if you see them at all.

Make sure you keep a copy of your pre-order form as for the last few of my Retail Therapy orders no miles appeared on my account and not having any proof as the crew take your order form off you when you collect the items on-board so I am not able to make a claim either [:#] [n]

TBH I've not been over-impressed with Retail Therapy in the last few months. On 2 seperate occasions they have pestered me if I want to order more when phoneing to order (for example ordering the same goods for the return flight) and to make matters worse as previously mentioned, the miles never showed up despite my FC # being on the order [n]

Thanks all but I'm now more concerned than I was before as I haven't been sent anything by Retail Therapy (like a pre-order form) and it sounds as if I should? They only seem to operate from 9-5ish which is a pain too.
