I have flown with VS loads of times and sometimes have been able to choose my seat, other times not. But i have always been shown what seat i am in.

I fly to SFO in a little over a week and am travelling alone in Economy. When i first booked the flight i selected a seat and have just gone to check it only to find a message which says seats will be assigned at check in. I am wondering, will i be able to get a window seat or an aisle seat or will i (as a lone passenger) just get placed wherever there is an odd one space?

Thanks in advance

As mentioned in lots of previous threads all the message means is that the 60% of seats that are available for pre selection have been taken. The fact you are a lone traveller has no bearing on what type of seat you get or where it is located.

If you look at the other threads where this has been discussed they will tell you what you are best doing.

Thanks that pretty much clears up my thoughts.
