Nick very kindly posted the LHR Clubhouse menu mid-Feb. Can anyone advise if the LGW Clubhouse menu differs greatly? Hopefully me and the present Mrs Treelo will be starting our Spring trip there [y]

I am currently in the LGW CH ready to go to Antigua. Menu as of 08:30 GMT 08 MAR 08

Bacon or Sausage sarnie (white/brown)

Red onion and dill smoked salmon (Free range scrambled egg)

Clubhouse Benedict

Porridge

Toast and Preserves

FC special (meal of the day?)

Booze, tea, coffee, cereals smoothies....

Its quite busy too, but an oasis compared to LGW duty-free area.

The CH should get quieter when VROOM open 'spring 2008' All those who have bought access will go there and the CH will return to UC and Gold only.

I hope so [:D] Every time I've used the CH, although it's a great place and much better than sitting in departures, it's always been packed. During my last visit in December there wasn't one spare seat to be found, lots of big groups of people (stags and hens) making the most of the free food and drink. Goodness knows how some of these people were allowed to fly as there were more than 1 or 2 who seemed a little the worse for wear.
