Interesting thread, no mention of PE on the upperdeck so if it turns out to be correct I guess there will be one decent sized PE cabin on the main deck?

Loved Kaddy's comment about turning off Galley FM :D

What fills me with dread at this alledged plan is the 8-abreast PE cabin on the main deck. That would probably be 2-4-2, I guess, which would be pretty nasty for anyone flying solo stuck in the middle. I'd much prefer to see a 2-2-2 on the upper deck for PE, but then I'm totally biased ;)

If the cabin config is as stated, it sounds like they've lowered the number of Upper seats (can't see a way you can fit 64 Suites in before doors 2 on the main deck plus before door 1 on the upper deck, especially if the config is 1-1-1 on top). That would mean more PE and/or Economy, and with the saftey limits on seat numbers for the A380, that leaves a bit of space. Wouldn't mind getting a look at that plan :)

It has been mentioned on here more then once that VS are planning on over-haul / redo / something nice of W and Y class. If they are doing this surely that would also fit in with the new A380's. Slightly more legroom in Y with a little extra pitch would be appreciated.

Pete,
I'm sure you could arrange a peak with your contacts!

BTW have you and Richard been to HQ yet? - maybe you could raise it then??
