Spotted this on anet. Talks about FFP and codeshare (possibly) by the end of the year. link
So, the short answer is hopefully by the end of this year weve got a frequent-flier hookup and interline or codeshare hookup with the Virgin carriers.

I thought about this on our VX flight into SFO from LAS. Seemed so silly to have to go to baggage reclaim and then back upstairs to VS check-in. If VX and VS can have an interlining agreement (or even just deliver VX pax bags to VS check-in) that would be a real plus point.

Thanks,
Sarah

I agree HF. Sadly I beleive that the FAA/DOT don't agree. I believe this was one of their real hangups with regards to VX and VS and common ownership etc.

Despite the FAA it still took years to get DJ and VS to partner for miles.

Very interesting article can be seen here which shows the power and potential that a tie up/codeshare/alliance between the Virgin Group of airline companies would have.
