VA Codeshare with Virgin Blue

The plot thickens!!

So VB told me to book tickets through VA for my internal flights in Oz, so that I get the international baggage allowance (32kgs), but on phoning VA they cant see any of VB's flights...

so starter for 10... any ideas how I can get the international allowance that seems to be agreed between VA and VB even though VA cant book me my flights with them?!?! Aaaargh!! [?]
