Hi all, i've just registered on here but been following the site for a while now, i think it's great!
I just have a quick question, I am flying to MCO in September after 8 years away but this time have upgraded to PE since I tried it when I flew to Boston and New York and now can't seem to face economy again[:I]
What i was wondering was if you are on the upper deck do you get to disembark before economy because i remember orlando airport with dread after my last experience and would like to get out as quick as possible! Also i have pre booked seats 74a&c as they are in front of the exit so am I right in thinking that they will have full recline?
Any answers wil be much appreciated!

Hi Virgin_Gal and welcome to V-Flyer [:)]

In my experience, upstairs are usually just behind the Upper pax and the CC try to let everyone down before the rest of the PE pax. Otherwise you'll be stood there ages.

As for the seats, you should get full recline on them.

Hope that helps.

They should hold back the rear part of economy, by this I mean from the stairs backwards. This allows both upper deck and lower deck PE passengers, UC and the small section of Econ Passengers (forward of the stairs) off first.
However, on my recent flight on the VS027 in UC they let everyone off at the same time[V]. That said, luckily the immigration hall was empty.

On Sunday on a 744 Config 4, they held back PE and E and those of us in the Upper Deck (which is UC in the Config 4) exited simultaneously with the lower deck UC pax. I was third off the plane and by the time I got around to the UC-only airbridge the other pax were just making it there. So no drawbacks at all for me.

On all the flights I have done into MCO, the crew have held back the main Economy cabin at disembarkation. This allows the UC cabin, both PE cabins & the small Economy mini-cabin to disembark first.

If you're on the VS75 from MAN and it is not too delayed, you're normally the first long-haul arrival into the MCO immigration hall, so if you're in UC/PE/Economy mini-cabin, you're through US immigration in no time.
