Hi,

I am trying to book a Miles plus Money fare for next year. Outbound 27th Apr Gatwick-LAS, inbound 15th May SFO-Heathrow.

Currently I can't find any flights which depart after 31st March 2007. I understood that flights were released on the the same basis as full fare flights, i.e. 11 months in advance. Any ideas on when this flights departing in April *will* get released?!

TIA
Sarah

As a rule they are released 336 days out, it is possible that the allotment has already been used.

Just an FYI, the M+M fares in most cases are not that great of a deal, you can normally find a discounted economy fare that is close in cost to a M+M fare, but earns miles etc.

LAS is a popular route and rewards seats (which MPM are booked as part of) are hard to come by. The first problem is that your flights are not even released yet for your return flight (it is 11 months from your return date) and then I imagine they will see how the sales are going before deciding if/how many reward seats they are going to be available.

You will just have to keep checking I am afraid because even FC won't know this info yet.

M + M fairs are not impossible to find due to the very fact that in most cases it is a better deal to go for a miles earning fare.

Bugger, I can't count, should be posted in the next couple of days then...take a look, see what it works out to be.

Thanks for the advice so far.

Still no outbound flights after 31st of March going *anywhere*, though I could fly out on 31/03 and come back in May in problem! On various other dates the saving seems to be £90 per person (making M+M ~ £450) so I guess I will have to just sit and wait.

Can't believe we got round-trip fares to LAS in March 07 for £330. (without using M+M, albeit in a sale). Damn those surcharges and fuel duty etc.
