VS5 diverted to Orlando

Seems like VS5 yesterday (17th June) diverted into MCO. Seems quite odd that it would go there rather than carry on to MIA (only another half hour or so) unless it was weather related.

It was weather related MIA had bad thunderstorms and they diverted other flights too.

Frequent occurrence at MIA in summertime - and hurricane season yet to come!

Have diverted into MCO many times when MIA has been closed due to thunderstorms.

We've landed at Fort Lauderdale when Mia was closed, total nightmare.
