Hi all,
I have just joined FC and notice that there is a 'backdate you miles' facility. The only snag is, it has to be within the previous 6 months.I took a flight from MAN to MCO in Nov last year which clearly falls outside of the 6 month time-frame. Before I attempt to make a groveliing call to FC, does anyone know if there is any scope for a bit of 'latitude' with the 6 months? I suspect not but there's no harm in trying[}:)]

Thanks

While its worth asking, I wouldnt hold your breath. The rules are clearlt there, but if your flight is literally just outside of the 6 months and/or would take you to FC Ag or Au i suspect they may be a little more sympathetic but if there is no other reason than wanting a few extra miles I'd think your answer will be along the lines of 'sorry, you've missed the window' and that's fair enough really. The fact you can backdate is impressive enough to me as a lot of other airlines dont seem to offer such flexibility.

Thanks,
Sarah

Yeah you're right it is impressive and no, it's for no special milestone AG ,AU Etc. Just thought it might be worth a stab. It's actually 8 months to the day since we got back so it's maybe a bit rich even asking[:w] Should've joined FC 2 months earlier! D'oh[:#]
Thanks for the reply anyway
