Seat map closed (& good Y seats on a 343)?

I chose my seat online for my JFK-LHR flight (later this August) a while back, and now the seating map is closed. Is the seat I chose still reserved? I can't seem to find any indication of what I hoped was my seat reservation.

Also, any thoughts on better-than-average (or worse-than-average) economy seats on a 343, besides what seatguru tells me? (And can I choose exit-row seats at OLCI?)

The seat map is closed because the quota of 60% of seats available for pre-allocation has been reached. There is every likelihood, however that your seat request is still OK. If you go into the Manage my Booking page on the VS website and click on the arrow by your name it should show the seat number you requested.

You will not be able to request an exit row seat at OLCI. these are only available at the airport as they need to see that you are physically able to help out in an emergency. There is also a charge for exit row seats in Economy
