Hi there,

I noticed that if you log onto the Virgin Atlantic Website, there is a little box which pops out asking for feedback.

I suggest that people mention:

1) The fact that there is no normal landline numbers to contact Virgin on. They use 0870/0844 numbers which are pricey.

2) The fact that Virgin Atlantic American Express customers still have to pay a fee if booking on Virgin Atlantic or Virgin Holidays. The fee should be waived if we are paying on our Virgin Atlantic AMEX card. It should be a perk.

The more people that mention it, the more likely they will change their policies. I have read people having moans on here so perhaps its your time to moan to the right people! [:D]

Thanks for the info, will go off now and have a look.

I definatley agree with the fee being waived for Virgin Atlantic Amex card holders. The money we would save after booking 5 UC tickets would be very useful on the holiday [:D]

Thanks again groober.

OR...

People could decide which issues affect *them* the most, and inform Virgin of those. That way, they might get to hear a representative sample of feedback, rather than a skewed one. [;)]

They have these 'feedback' things all the time. I am quite skeptical about them, but I know VS do keep updating the site and search/booking engine so maybe they do work, although I am still to be convinced.

There only appears to be scope for offering feedback on the VS website not on wider issues in the survey.

The man (I'm assuming you're a man, groober?) makes a fine point, especially regarding the credit card fee scandal which has become a something of a bte noir for me recently. Wrong, so wrong...

I use the information from the Say No to 0870 website which gives me a normal landline number

The fee should be waived if we are paying on our Virgin Atlantic AMEX card. It should be a perk.

Some of us are unable to get VS AMEX cards and therefore no miles for when we pay for flights. That in itself is a perk as far as I am concerned.

I'm with preiffer on this one and any contact would be about things that affect me. I don't think VS would take too kindly to an orchestrated campaign

Orchestrated campaigns are sometimes an awfully effective means of achieving an orchestrated change...

The point has already been made by moid.

The pop up survey on the VS website is for feedback about the website itself, not about VS.

If V-Flyers want to contact the airline, they can. I don't think they need to be told what to say.

We know people from VS read the site on a regular basis, and I like to think our views are expressed best in threads. We know from past experience that things do change after evidenced comments and opinions are aired on V-Flyer.

I'd encourage feedback, orchestrated or otherwise. The survey does have a freeform part to enter comments about what you would like to see improved relative to your visit to the site that day, so use it! It doesn't take to long to complete.

Me too !! - and for lots of other 0870 etc numbers. Some useful info on that site.

Back OT, I second (or maybe third or fourth) the views held by a few posters here. The survey asks for feedback on the website, not the company [:)]

Does everyone get the pop up box? or is it a random selection as I've logged in to the VS site (home and at work) but no pop-up box.

It's random and sometimes can be like buses - you get none for ages and then 2-3 come along together
