You get TPs as per the table here.

And as I understand it, just base miles flown.

Unfortunately, tier points but no bonus miles over the base value.

Wonder if you guys can help me.
I'm flying to Singapore in October by Singapore Airlines (Business Class), then to Delhi by Jet (business class), returning by Virgin (Upper Class) to LHR.
I need 10 tier points to get to Au. Going by the posts above, looks like I'll make it![8D]
What are the likely hassles getting miles credited from these flights?[?]
Best Wishes

Hi Raj,

Are you flying one way LHR-SIN? That would be 5 tier points on SQ in business class.

I have had to claim my miles and tier points after the flight by sending in my boarding pass stub and e-ticket. Its a bit of a pain, but I have always had the miles and points correctly credited. Sometimes you have to wait a while, but if you call Flying Club a week or so after sending the documents in they can usually locate them and do them that day for you.

Thanks,
Sarah

Totally agreed, in my experience it's very hit and miss as to whether and when SQ miles & TPs appear on my account.

As Sarah says, keep your BPs and other documentation.

I had one experience on a HKG-SIN-LHR on the same locator reference and connecting flights where my SIN-LHR segment was creditted but the HKG-SIN wasn't which was strange as I'd checked in to both segments at the same time at HKG.

None of the six segments of my last SQ trip were creditted: as that was a total of 38 TPs in all, I wasn't going to let it go. I had to send in the docuementation, and it took ten weeks or so to get creditted.

Cheers, Howard

Hmmm - I had a similar experience earlier this year - then magically the return leg appeared - twice :-)

6 legs on SQ in July, miles and TPs credited within 2 weeks of me getting back. Just goes to show how random these things can work sometimes. I did try and show my FC card at check in, as VS suggest, but not one of the agents was remotely interested...

Thanks to everyone who replied. Yes Sarah,I am travelling one way on SQ, then onto Jet and returning on VS.
I shall hang on to the booking details and the boarding passes!
Best wishes
