VS won't refund an air fare that goes down but there have been posts saying that VH will if the price drops.

Give them a shout and ask, worst they can say is 'No'

Just called and they won't price match their own holidays, but will if you can find it elsewhere within 14 days of booking. Found it elsewhere for the new price, so here's hoping!

The guy I spoke to at VH, denied all knowledge of a price match guarantee! It's on the VH website in full detail, but it seems they don't train their staff properly, and despite me reading the guarantee verbatim from the website he wasn't having any of it. I think its terrible that he would just outright say 'No we do not price match', when it says on the website! Now waiting for a call back from a supervisor.

Depending when you booked, you could still cancel your booking and get a full refund and re-book as it clearly states in their booking T&C's:

If you had not seen these terms and conditions at the time of booking and you do not wish to proceed with your booking now that you have seen them, please return all documentation to us or to your travel agent, within 7 days of receiving your confirmation invoice. Your booking will be cancelled and your monies will be returned in full, provided you have not commenced your travel


So you are entitled to receive a full refund upto 7 days after receiving your invoice (which takes at least a week to arrive in the post anyway if booking direct) so that gives you 14 days in theory from the day your made the booking.
