OK - this is a rant. It transpires that Dragonbaby 'may' (almost certainly) have left a fairly nice piece of jewellery in the side of her suite on our last trip with VS (which was admittedly at the back end of August).I didn't know she had taken it away with her [V].Today (when I found out) I have contacted VS and told to ring another number which I did.After an interrogation from the operator as to why I've been so long reporting it (she obviously doesn't have a teenage daughter) I've ben advised that after 90 days all electronic records regarding left property are deleted and no hard copies are kept [?] so even it was handed in I couldn't claim it.
I was told to claim on my insurance, which I won't (DB can save up and buy herself a replacement. A fairly expensive snooze really).To add insult to injury, she also told me that another passenger had probably taken it anyway.
