VA predicts hard times ahead for Vegas route

When BMI drops their MAN>LAS route in April next year, no doubt VS will be there to take up some of the slack.

And to think 6 months ago there was talk of the route moving to LHR.

Well Vegas is hurting right now, interestingly the executives at the hotels are finally figuring out that is you offer rooms cheaply, give comp food and drinks for the gamblers people will come and stay at your hotel....I am amazed.

The other thing Vegas hotels do and should think about dropping is their automatic 1 night deposit they all seem to charge when booking a room.

What's all that about [?] I can't think of many other places that do this [:?]

They do this due to the high level of no shows with people driving into town from California.
