I can see a PE trip to NYC on the horizon, £476 is a bit of bargain.

And now BA are having a sale from Tuesday with 'selected travel dates between January and September 2009'. How odd! [:?]

LOL - it will be a strange flight, as the Y passengers are still going from LHR. [:D][;)]

I had an SFO flight like that. UC passengers were driven to Gatwick, and the Y and PE passengers were bused to Gatwick, and then onto SFO.

Well these are so cheap I've just booked our summer flights to Washington in July. Never been there before so we're quite looking forward to it.

Anyone want to offer any advice on where else we could go while we're in this neck of the woods, we thought about Niagara but not sure how far that would be.

Thanks

Niagra is nearer to New York than DC.

However, there is plenty to do in DC. You can visit the place where Lincoln was assasinated, the Spy Museum and of course all the good public Museums, including my favourite the Air and Space one, closely followed by the National Jistory one.

I would get a guide from Amazon.

My wife and I have been to DC twice, and I was there a couple of times when I got stuck there in the snow.

Enjoy it, I am sure you will have a good time.
