Never trust a press release dated 1st April, and the second paragraph is decidedly full of corny references to Red Hot... plus country manager 'Hal Apeno'...
Anyways - here's the press release Virgin sent me this morning. I'm not falling for it.

Red Hot, Hot, Hot - Virgin Atlantic Announces Daily Service To Chile
Virgin Atlantic Airways today announced that it plans to launch a spicy non-stop service between London Heathrow and Chile. The capital, Santiago will become Virgin Atlantic's 31st destination worldwide and the gateway to South America; as the worlds leading long haul airline celebrates its red-hot 25th birthday this year.
New, additional services onboard the service will include: Spanish-speaking cabin crew and a dedicated South American menu with Chilli Con Carne and selection of Chilean wines. Premium Economy and Upper Class passengers will also receive an exclusive red hot amenity kit with after dinner mints to soothe after the spicy meal. In addition to the popular sleep suit, Upper Class passengers will receive a red fleece in case they get chilly on arrival.
The onboard bar in the award winning Virgin Atlantic Upper Class cabin, which includes the longest fully flat bed in business class, will serve Chilli Margaritas in celebration of the new service.
Hal Apeno, Virgin Atlantics new country manager for Chile, added:
Chile is truly red hot and will really set you jumping. Its the perfect place to add as our next destination to help mark our 25 years of flying.
Virgin Atlantic operates to 30 destinations worldwide and has carried over 65m passengers since its inaugural flight to Newark on the 22nd June 1984.
