BMI miles

I've just taken a short hop with BMI to AMS and I indicated at booking (on the website) with BMI that I was a VS FC member and gave my number etc. At check-in I gave them my BMI gold card instead of my VS gold card and the swiped it. I now have the 800 miles appearing on my BMI account.

My question/situation is that I would much rather have the 1,600 miles for a short haul BMI flight on my FC account than my BMI account and now that they have allocated to BMI I presume I won't see them on my FC account. Can I rectify this?

You can ask cudstomer services if they would change this but it is a big ask. They can only be allocated to one account so it would involve a credit.

No harm in asking but I would imagine they'd say no because of the admin overhead. Still, you are *G so I'd try and see what they say?

If you post on 'flyertalk' there is a very useful BMI DC contact that helps out DC members within the BMI forum. Her name is Joanna, you'll find more details over there. She's very helpful and would be able to sort this out for you although it will take her a couple of weeks to get around to it due to workload.

I'm just saying this as I think you will need to contact DC first to have them remove the miles and confirm it before those miles can be credited to your FC account, I could be wrong of course!
