OLCI problems today?

Just wondered if any problems with OLCI today? Tried to check myself in (UC), no joy, tried to check parents in (PE), no joy. Am on the VS015 and PE is half full and UC only has 5 of us in anyway so will probably check in at the airport tomorrow instead, but very frustrating.

Also, just spoke to some friends on the same flight (in economy), they're also unable to check in online.

The natives over on the Dibb are having kittens about OLCI not working, so seems it is a problem VS currently have, maybe try giving them a call and see what they say.

Thanks Neil, just checked with Virgin and they 'can't see a problem' but must be a technical glitch. Can't see them merging both flights (like my last time) as economy is practically full on both.

Mystery solved - just go back from twilight check-in, long queue started to form as the agents could not check in anyone for the VS015 tomorrow, turns out, after numerous calls to 'Heathrow' that the system had been locked. Bit of a nightmare for the staff, and all those attempting to check in online earlier, but now sorted.

Tried OLCI tonight for tomorrow's VS6, it hesitated & staggered through, finally confirming unconvincingly a seat modification, but wouldn't issue boarding cards for printing.

When we flew out on VS5 OLCI failed completely 26 hours before departure & didn't recover until after departure. Staff at LHR seemed unaware of a problem until they tried to check us in, then they discovered only some terminals there were operating.

That (& unadvised equipment changes) is not good enough Sir Richard, regrettably I'll be reconsidering my hitherto very satisfied endorsement & use of VS flights.

sitting in china and have been trying to OLCI for VS201 tonight but telling me I have to check in at airport - as this is the sydney flight I'm now worrying that the flight is overbooked [?]from HK leg. If anyone can put me out of my misery on that at least I'll be grateful - Y this leg always a come down after PE on the way out - anyway needs must and all that - any feedback appreciated.
