Hi All

I'm sure that there's someone out there who can help me. I'm trying to see availability for use of Virgin miles on MH. The FC have trouble and can't see any availability ever, which sounds to me like a technical fault. So I've been trying to 'do it myself'. If I use the ANA availability tool, I notice that MH is NOT Star alliance. So if I check availability, I get the 'triangle' and the darker orange (not light orange) for any day within the next 330 days.

Is this because MH isn't on line to ANA, like Star Alliance airlines, and it's only 'noting' my request prior to checking it with the relevant airline? I can't get it to do the actual check, as I haven't got any ANA miles, and so it won't do it for me

I've used seatcounter.com, and don't understand the results. I'm looking for Business reward class on MH, which I gather is I- but there's no I column listed, even though I've typed MH into the first two boxes. It then offers to tell me more about Star Alliance rewards, but of course MH isn't in Star Alliance

HELP!

It's like SQ all over again, but worse. [:0][B)]

The only thing I can think of is to ring MH direct.

I gave up with the ANA tool after it kept showing me SQ reward availability, only to have it denied by SQ when VS rang them. [n]

Best of luck.

Nick

I tried MH direct, but they stressed to me that if they can see award travel it doesn't mean that VS can book it. They could see reward travel on the one and only day that they'd look up for me, and VS couldn't see it. Mind you according to VS I could never travel!

Again I'm baffled and don't know what to do. Does partner award ticketing exist? Or did they close it and forget to tell us?
