Using a third party agent I have booked my flights to Delhi...
Going out - VS300 - Sept 7th
Upon receiving my tickets/reciept etc, I gave them a call to confirm that they had provided me with the window seat that I had requested. Their response was that economy was (pretty much) fully booked; they had failed with the window seat request and that they had only managed to secure me seat 46K.
Am I going nuts?! According to "Virgin Seat Planner" this is a window seat...and there are plently of seats available for selection - is this updated in real-time?
Does this mean that my seat is not gauranteed? May I be moved?
(Slightly off topic - is the Virgin "Update Booking" feature actually available for me to use? Or must the tickets have been purchased through Virgin directly? It seems to work.
