Well kind of the Y + is the exit rows that you pay 50 pounds for,or in this case one person paid 50 pounds and the other go his free because the A seat is partialy blocked by the door.

So no,no such thing as Y+,but there is if you get my meaning.

Look at the caption closely again.....

EcoMoMy Plus [:w]

It was me being my usual 6pm silly self with the captions, there is no such thing as Economy Plus on VS aircraft (unless you are gold [}:)] or a celebrity of course, and McFly who were recently seen flying in VS Y and asking if they could sit at the bar [:0] need not apply).

Economy Plus of course is available on UA flights, Premier and above status gets you an upgrade to it if there is space available.

Thanks,
Richard [|:)]

The irony is that LRoM suggested this configuration was actually comfortable! Look how far the poor lady to my right has had to lean to avoid getting too personal (or was it to avoid getting in Richard' photograph?)

As it happens, 39B behind me was empty, allowing the occupant of 39A to lay across into 39B, so no blocked-out seats behind. [:(!]

75USD/50GBP may get you effectively unlimited legroom, but even EcoNoMy Plus gives only limited width. [:(]

(JetWet1 was quite right, this was a TwoFer deal as well).

You didn't happen to see who was sat in 39A did you? Were they a daytime TV presenter? [:?]

Thanks,
Richard

Haha... and here I was thinking that the rumored Economy upgrades included an Economy Plus section, similar to UA's.

Ah yes, the long standing rumours of econ and PE impovements. Very long standing rumours. So long standing in fact that I think I have discounted them. Still no harm in waiting[|)]
