Hello

Been having a real oddessy moving rewards flights with Virgin but finally managed to coe to solution that suits me. Feel I just have to share my wisdom on here.

Fozzyo and myself currently had two UC out PE back reward flights to JFK over New Year with a stay in the MO. Now were getting a new kitchen (which is a whole new stress in itself [:0]) we've decided to move the holiday to next year before the validity runs out in July.

Now decided to go with my brother to LAS in April. He's not willing to pay for Upper Class but I want him to fly it so decided to use my miles for him, even though cancelling them and giving them him will lose me about 20K miles with the 25% fee. But with him giving me what he can afford for the flight I get a UC out and PE back to SFO for about £1000, get some TP's still use the miles (-25%) and get back the cancelled miles with the ones I'll earn on that flight.
I'll also now got two more qualifying flights next year than before, this one and the one I'm going to take with Fozzyo (where he still has the reward ticket).

Just now trying to keep my Bro happy with being frugal on hotel choices in LAS.

There got that off my chest... :D

P.S Dave, is there big convention in LAS at the end of April, seems really expensive and quite a lot of sold outs...

Cheers Pete!

Were there just after that but might explain it, maybe everyone is staying on for a bit of fun afterwards. Looked at moving earlier (around that time and rooms were even more pricey!).

Dean,

The question on Vegas these days is when isn't it busy. No matter when I'm there (usually just for day trips, on business) the place is packed.
