I have booked my first upperclass flights in March / April 06 (indeed my first ever Virgin flights). Have noticed that on VS010 in November alot of the time non suite planes flew that route. Anybody know the reason for that and is it likely to continue - December looks as if all suite flights so far.

Thoughts would be appreciated.

Stuart welcome to V-Flyer :)

The VS9/10 does seem to have got a raw deal in the past with non-UCS A/C on that route.

By next March, VS will have at least 1 more new A346 and the 5 planned A343 re-fits should be done by then as well. As it stands now, there's only 1 of the 5 A343's that are getting UCS left to re-fit. VS also took delivery of another new A346 on Dec 1 this year as well.

I would say your chances are pretty high of getting an UCS A/C.

Can you view your seat map using the VS web site [?] This will tell you what A/C you are flying on. All you need is your booking reference.

Regards
