We are flying out to Antigua on 30th April and unfortunately only managed to get PE flight this time >-(

I have loads of miles and was wondering if there is away to spend miles rather than money to gain entry

Can anyone shed some light on this , unfortunately on silver member at the mo until Aug if everything goes to plan

I'm afraid I've never heard of anyone using miles to gain CH access...

Ok, I know I used to be able to do it when I had a flying co account with my company, but I wasn't sure if you could with just a normal flying club account

I was also told by VS that, subject to availability on the day, you might be able to buy CH access for £65 each. I think I will stick to my usual browse round the shops followed by a peaceful breakfast in Frankie and Benny's upstairs in South terminal!

The No.1 Lounge will be closing at some point, and Frankie & Benny's has already closed. That whole area - plus the V-Room which closes next month - is being converted into BA's new lounge complex ready for when they switch terminals later this year.

Pay-as-you-go entry to the LGW Clubhouse, when available, is about £30 or £35 if my memory serves correctly - £65 is the LHR price.

To add to waht has already been said, going by the Virgin Holiday brochures, it offers VH passengers the Heathrow Clubhouse at £65 and the Gatwick Clubhouse at £55.

However, with the V Room also closing, I can imagine pay on entry opportunities greatly reducing as VH Customers pre book paid spaces.
