Gosh it's hot here in Miami but I suppose that's why we come.
Arrived courtesy of American Airlines from MCO, can't comment too much on the trip in First as there was turbulence and thus no service. Plenty of knee room on the 767 and sat next to an AA Captain and we spent the time discussing American politics! He's voting Trump and wondered what the Brits thought about him
Now esconsed in the Premium Admirals Club thingy, certainly not a Clubhouse but comfortable and plenty of room to spread out despite all the airlines using it.
Large selection of spirits and a few wines (all self service) but I haven't spotted any champagne! Food choices limited to salads, sandwiches, cold pasta, cuts of meat and two soups, one "loaded potato skin soup" which is a new one on me.
Although the flight leaves at 10 PM BA have emailed a copy of the first class menu on board, so if I can stay awake I might for the purpose of experimentation try the beef filet.
Sweater at the ready in my had luggage for the arrival at Heathrow.
