Row 32 A340-600

can anyone give me some info on these seats? any extra leg room? or do you have less because of the toilet wall? where do the tv's and meal trays come from?

any info would be great

The TV screen and tray tables are stored in the seat arms, which can not be moved [:(!]

I am overweight and I found these seats were great for legroom but a bit of a squeeze width-wise. The other downside is the disruption from passengers walking to and fro (I had an old man's sweaty arse in my face for way too long on one flight for my liking when he was talking to a mate) and also you have no handy seat back pocket for books and magazines etc. BUT the flight was not with Virgin, it was with UA, so there is a chance that the Virgin seats are different, but I doubt it.

Check out the seat maps for reviews - there are quite a few good ones in eceonomy for the A340-600.

Not such a great seat as leg room is very poor. No seat in front but no ability to stretch out legs - unlike 18A/C/H/K which have about an extra 10-15cm". I have used the seats a long time ago, and I think Buffy's rating is quite harsh. You get much more knee room. However he is right that you cannot extend your legs full, as you would be able to do in other economy seats. Karnsculpture is also correct about the TV and tray, and that the arm rest is not moveable. THe comparison Buffy draws is with PE seats by the way, just to save confusion.

I am a big guy, and have to say this is a row I would go for, preferably by the windows.

IIRC the row behind (row 33) has much more leg room (it is the row behind the bulkhead row), as it is the "emergency passage" for pax from one side of the plane to the other. There seemed to be enough room for a full stretch of the legs, but prob insufficient to have pax passing in front of you [y]

I remember passing it on my last flights, and thinking I'll try and bag that row next time.

Can anyone confirm?

Not sure why you're seeing this as a review of seats in Row 32 Sailor. My review was for 18E/G where I feel the leg room for PE seats is quite poor. I have never reviewed row 32 as (to the best of my knowledge) I have never sat there.

You're right buffy. It is a bit bizar, I could swear that when I rolled over 32 D and F yesterday it came up with your reviews, but looking today they are under 18 (as you say)[:#][?]

I believe you are right. Row 33 is right by the overwing exits and there are significant extra space between this row and row 32 (row in front). There are loads more legroom in row 33. I assume they can only assign you to this row at the check-in?

It's an exit row so can only be assigned at the airport when you check in[:X]

I may be wrong and stand to be corrected but as already stated Row 33 is classed as an Exit row and the normal exit seat charges apply.
