Connection times

Hi all,

First time poster, long time lurker here! We've booked an ex-Dublin flight for December to NY as a little pre-Xmas escapade but was hoping for a little reassurance from you experts!
Our DUB flight is with BA, and leaves only 2hr 50min for our VS flight to JFK. Do you think this is enough time? We're travelling in Upper (betraying Club for the first time) and were unsure of the connection process. I reckon we'll be hand luggage only too. Anyone who can put my mind at ease?

Yes it is enough time to get from T5 to T3 and have some time in the CH.

The LHR connections tool explains the connection process.

The minimum connection time between T5 and T3 is set as 75 minutes but many people do it a lot quicker so you have more than enough time.

As long as your BA flight departs/arrives on time you will be fine.
