Brussels Airport

We are flying out with BA using ex EU via Brussels, connecting to Virgin in London towards the end of April. Brussels airport have announced that it may be months before they are operating at 100% capacity. Is it too early to speak with Virgin, and say we will miss the first flight and make our own way to London or will they just cancel the whole itinerary?

I hope this make sense!! Any advice would be appreciated?

BA appear to be planning to resume flights from Brussels on 5 April - if so you'll be fine.
