Blockbuster - Flying club points ?

Hi

I have seen a couple of people mention that you can earn points by joining Blockbuster videos ?
Can anyone give me any more info on this, can't see anything mentioned on the Blockbuster site and I am desperately trying to earn more upgrade miles in time for a trip to DEL in March. Any other quick ways to earn miles ? I already have the FC Credit card.

AFAIK, this offer relates to the non-miles earning card.

If you sign up you can gain 3000 bonus points, which are points to spend in the members shop. See here

If you have a miles earning card then its of no value to you as these are not air miles on offer [:(]

Not sure about that. But Virgin Wines and Virgin Casino can be good places, though with the Casino can also be a good way to loose loads too.

Erm ... Buy lots of things ... though this has a downside

Seriously though, in addition to Foz's comments, i believe there are offers through Virgin Wines at the moment (for 1000 miles for your first order IIRC) and of course staying with hotels that are miles earning per night are a good bet. Buying your petrol at Texaco also nets you a mile per £1 spent, and you can transfer them to your FC account in multiples of 1000 - but obviously that takes a while.

You can also convert points you earn in the Virgin Casino to FC miles Ð but this could be a risky venture

The easiest way seems to be to offer to pay for things with your card for your friends and relatives Ð and get the cash from them, then its free miles!!

Friends and Family is definitely the way to go!!! Get your credit card used and abused.....[y]

I rack up bills around the £3k - £5k per month by getting people to call me if they need to buy something large. As long as your debt collection skills are up to scratch you cannot lose!!!!! It's a certain winner.

Get yourself a 2 miles per £1 card, the points will stack up really quickly.
