Tier Point Q ... Sorry

I know there is a very detailed Tier Point Guide ........ But Im having trouble with this one and so are the staff at FC .... just wondered if someone could get your head around it [?]

My recent TP history is as follows :-

All flights in UC J tickets

Oct'04 Ret IAD
2-4 Jan '05 Ret IAD
6-11 Feb '05 Ret LAX
6-17 Mar '05 Ret LAX
6-16 Jun '05 Ret LAX

Since my last flight the FC website has shown me requiring 10 TP to renew before the 31 March.

I have a Hong Kong trip in UC booked for next month which until tonight was my renewal for gold !!

During a call to FC about spending some miles the agent mentioned my 20 tier points needed for renewal !!!!

FC now insist it is 20 .. but everyone is puzzled as to why the site shows 10 !!

The annoying part is that I have turned down work trips in the comfortable knowledge that I will renew with my HK trip.

Anyone work this out to see if FC are correct and offer any clues about the total shown on the site.

I make it 10TP required to renew, that is based upon your statement taht the site shows before 31st March 2006; this would mean the previous requal period was up until end of February 2005, after which everythign would have zero'd down, and you start again. And you have two flights in already in March 2005 onwards period.

To confirm ask them when your anniversary date is, and let me know. TBH, there are very few people at VS that know how TP work properly.

Had a call from FC this afternoon .... they have manually added 10TP to my account straight away ... which has in fact now given me my renewal
