I am flying to Orlando from Manchester on 17th March this year. I have pre-booked seats 80H&K but wondered whether there is any way we can pre-book 75H&K for the even more extra leg-room. My husband is very tall and even in Premier seats, he is almost kneecapped when the person in front reclines their seat. Row 70 is no good as his feet hardly fit in at all due to the partition board which seperates the seating area from the toilets. Virgin don't do twilight check-in, otherwise we'd check-in early and I understand that these seats acannot be booked using online check-in. Any other thoughts or sugestions other than being at check-in as soon as it opens? Thank you for a help.

Your only chance of getting into 75 is to be at check-in as sharp as possible on the morning of your flight. V.A will put a note in your PNR that your husband is tall, I have the same problem though, It's just a race to beat the queue I'm afraid.............[:#]

Hope this helps........[y]

Hi

It is usually a lot easier to get the upper deck exit rows, as most premium passengers are happy with the room provided, unlike economy where everyone wants the extra room! The last two times I have flown in PE the cabin crew have had to ask people to move into the exit rows for take off and landing (they need someone there for safety resons) but the people moved back again after take off!

I would still reccomend getting to checkin early, but most times when I have asked for these seats they have been available.

Hope this helps.

Neil.

Thank you - we'll get there early anyway and hope for the best.
