Hello everyone, long time no post. Yes, we deserted to the dark side (sssh) and are racing back here. YMMV, we didn't like it. No doubt we should have persevered, piled up more Avios etc., and flown F but CW meanwhile didn't suit.

Booked last Thursday on VS website return flights to NYC. Shows up on mine and OH's FC account pages but neither of us have received confirmation emails with e-tickets.

It used to be within a day or so of booking. Has this now changed?

Presumably if the bookings show up in your Flying Club accounts, you've got the 6 digit PNR's showing up for each ticket/journey?

If you have, then you're 99.99% good to go. I've never been asked for sight of an e-ticket from a US Immigration Officer when asked the "what is the purpose of your visit / how long are you here for?" question.

In fact, come to think of it I don't think I've even got an e-ticket email for my trip in just under 4 weeks time. Yes, I've got the PNR code and the 932xxxxxxxxxxxxx e-ticket number, but no actual email with the e-ticket attached. I've been able to select seats for out upcoming flights no problems & expect the meal selection email a few days prior to departure as it's ex-MAN in Upper Class.

Can you access your booking when logging into your Flying Club account or access it online using the booking ref (if you noted it during booking)?

If so, can you see a 932 e-ticket number about half way down under where it says Passenger details:

(if you book via Delta, you will get a 006 ticket number)

The email/e-ticket is usually pretty instant. When I booked a flight last week I think the email arrived <5mins with the e-ticket number on it etc.

You don't get a separate e-ticket now and as long as you can see your e-ticket number in your online booking, I wouldn't worry about an email confirmation.

Thanks Kraken and James, PNR and e-ticket number do show. And I've now got an email courtesy of clicking on "Resend email" which is useful for my Tripit App which doesn't tell me any more than the VS app no doubt. I should get out more....
